Back when I was in middle school and even high school, my mom would always nag me about sitting long hours in front of the computer screen, playing video games. She would always mention how “these games are just a useless waste of time and would never account to anything in my life“. It‘s funny, really, when in less than 5 years I‘ve become a Game Designer at Nordcurrent, and several years later even earned the Lead role. Ironically, video games did account to a huge part of my life, but now they‘re not only a source of income, but a way of self expression and improvement.
