Cooking Fever Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Party Palace Update

The 27th of September marks a significant milestone for Nordcurrent, as Cooking Fever, one of its most popular mobile games, celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Launched in 2014, Cooking Fever quickly became one of the standout games in the time-management simulation genre. Players are tasked with running various restaurants and preparing a wide range of dishes under time pressure. Within its first year, the game attracted millions of players, establishing itself as a global hit. Its quick success prompted localization into multiple languages to meet the needs of a growing international audience.

“Being local to our players plays an important role—that’s why we support 14 different languages. This really helped us attract more players from different nationalities and languages,” said Project Manager Tomas Šiukščius.

In the past decade, Cooking Fever has seen impressive growth, with over 40 different restaurant types, from fast food staples like burgers and pizzas to fine dining options such as sushi and steak. The game’s colorful graphics, fast-paced action, and frequent updates have helped it maintain a dedicated player base over the years.

To celebrate this incredible 10-year milestone, Nordcurrent is releasing the Party Palace, a dazzling new restaurant that screams celebration.

This vibrant venue is a full-blown party, featuring disco balls that sparkle, glowing lights illuminating every corner, and stages surrounded by sound boxes to enhance the festive atmosphere. Players can dive into the fun by crafting burgers, tacos, and—most exciting of all—spectacular cakes. These multi-layered creations can go up to three tiers, topped with a bold “10” to honor the game’s milestone, making every dish feel like a true celebration!

Players were caught off guard by an unexpected in-game event tied to the 10th-anniversary celebration. For 10 days, they’ll need to collect golden burgers to earn daily rewards. Once 100,000 players succeed, they’ll unlock not only special prizes but also exclusive “Memories,” highlighting fun facts from each year Cooking Fever has been around.

The game has cultivated a passionate following, with dedicated fans who have remained loyal since day one, as noted by community manager Julijana Zavjalova.

Addressing the motive behind such ongoing commitment, Tomas Šiukščius stated: “The major key to success is continuous development and constant updates—every new restaurant launch (currently we have 42 of them) brings our loyal players back, as we always manage to create unique and exciting experiences, with new mechanics, new cuisines, and new atmospheres.”

With more than 500 million downloads worldwide, Cooking Fever shows no signs of slowing down. As the game celebrates a decade of success, the team at Nordcurrent looks forward to delivering even more years of culinary excitement.
