Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the release pipeline by owning the end-to-end release lifecycle for new game releases, patches, DLCs, and major updates across PC and console;
  • Prepare, format, and submit build packages and store metadata to platform portals (e.g., PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam);
  • Act as the ultimate bridge between QA, Art, and Development teams to ensure everyone is aligned on submission deadlines and compliance requirements;
  • Own the end-to-end submission process for global rating boards, including filling out questionnaires, capturing required gameplay B-roll (depicting worst-case violence, language, or themes), and securing IARC (International Age Rating Coalition) certifications for digital storefronts;
  • Identify potential bottlenecks or compliance risks early in the cycle and work with leads to mitigate them before they impact launch day;
  • Design, schedule, and execute internal and external playtest milestones and make sure the right people (scouting teams, producers, executives, or target player groups) have seamless access to the right builds at the right time;
  • Verify that the technical health, feature list, and stability of the milestone build accurately match the criteria agreed upon in the publishing contract;
  • Coordinate and schedule agreed sales across multiple storefronts, ensuring accurate and timely execution of promotional plans in alignment with release and marketing calendars;
  • Manage the timing, duration, and regional rollout of discounts or promotions across digital platforms (e.g., console stores, Steam, Epic Games Store, mobile storefronts), while ensuring consistency with internal approval processes and external partner requirements.
A Successful Candidate Must Have:
  • Experience in release management, production, or QA coordination;
  • Familiarity with at least one major first-party console portal (Sony DevNet/DevPortal, Xbox Partner Center) or PC storefront backend (Steamworks, Epic Developer Portal);
  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools;
  • A keen eye for detail and documentation;
  • The ability to strive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Capability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical teams;
  • Proficiency in keeping everyone aligned during high-stakes launch windows.
