As a Game LiveOps Specialist, you will help shape the live experience of our games by delivering engaging events, offers, and content updates to players worldwide. Working closely with development, marketing, and analytics teams, you will ensure that live content is timely, well-configured, and continuously optimized to maximize player engagement and retention.
Every day, you will think creatively, test new ideas and bring high-quality live events and content to life. Your goal will be to create meaningful player experiences, satisfy player needs and strengthen long-term engagement and retention.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure and optimize live game content, including in-game events, special offers, content updates, and monetization features;
- Activate and manage engaging in-game content (e.g., special and limited-time offers) according to team priorities;
- Configure and monitor live content via internal tools/admin panels, ensuring its correct setup conditions, rewards, segmentation, timing, and visibility;
- Manage and maintain the LiveOps calendar including events, offers, regular content updates, patches, and expansions;
- Perform configuration checks and support A/B testing to validate content performance and ensure quality before publishing;
- Document features and prepare clear, structured specifications (rules, rewards, edge cases, requirements for related teams);
- Analyze live game content performance (participation, completion, retention metrics) to refine content based on player interaction data and feedback;
- Closely collaborate with Development, Marketing, and Quality Assurance teams to execute LiveOps strategies that maximize player engagement and retention.
A Successful Candidate Must Have:
- Solid technical writing skills with the ability to produce clear, structured documentation;
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
- Understanding of remote configuration principles and feature flag systems;
- Basic understanding of JSON or configuration structures;
- Familiarity with A/B testing logic and tools;
- Ability to work with high-volume configuration tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality;
- Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively across disciplines;
- Good verbal and written English language skills.
Extra Great to Have:
- Hands-on experience designing and balancing Live Ops and events;
- Experience publishing and managing live in-game events;
- Experience working with admin panels or backend tools for live game configuration;
- Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management systems;
- Passion for the gaming industry and awareness of current market trends.
