Burger Chef empowered by Cooking Fever breaks Guinness World Record in Vilnius!

Last Thursday, September 5th, 2024, in Vilnius, Lithuania, during an epic event, Cooking Fever’s vibrant culinary action was brought to life in a Guinness World Record attempt. In a spectacular display of speed and skill, top chefs from Drama Burger and Meat Busters competed to set a new world record for assembling the most burgers in one minute. The competition was fierce, with chefs Karolis Čygas and Paulius Staliorius from Drama Burger, and Sergej Kozlov alongside Arvydas Kieras from Meat Busters, all showcasing their exceptional burger-building skills—skills not unlike those required in Cooking Fever, where players race to serve customers in a virtual restaurant.

The event was held in celebration of Cooking Fever 10th year anniversary. With over 500 million downloads worldwide, this beloved game has captured the hearts of millions, and its creators from Nordcurrent marked the occasion with a high-stakes event that truly made an impact.

Ultimately, it was Chef Paulius Staliorius who accomplished an incredible feat by assembling 11 burgers in under 60 seconds. This achievement dethroned former record-holders George Butler from the UK and Iris Cazarez from the US, both of whom had tied with eight burgers.

Reflecting on the achievement, Staliorius shared, “I had practiced a few times at work, so I knew I could definitely stack more than 8 burgers. I felt nervous, but once the counting started, I focused on the process.”

Beyond the record-breaking moment, the event featured a vibrant lineup of activities, including live entertainment, food trucks, and interactive stations that allowed guests to fully immerse themselves in the Cooking Fever universe. It was a spectacular blend of culinary artistry and gaming excitement, uniting fans from both worlds. As Cooking Fever continues to evolve with thrilling updates and new features, this landmark anniversary underscores its lasting influence on both the gaming industry and the global food scene.

Commenting on the successful conclusion of the evening, Victoria Trofimova, our CEO, stated:

Cooking Fever has always been more than just a cooking simulation – it’s a community of passionate players who embrace challenges and constantly strive for victory. It’s no surprise that this game is the most popular creation in our studio’s history. We are always striving to amaze our players, and by attempting to break the Guinness World Record, we’ve shown how impressively the boundaries between a mobile game and reality can disappear.”

With this record-breaking celebration, Cooking Fever not only commemorates its past but also sets the stage for a future filled with culinary adventures!
